2018 GSM
While GSM blends can have any combination of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre, leading to heavy or lighter expressions, this version is very much on the more delicate side similar to Southern Rhone wines. Leading with 63% Grenache from the esteemed Stillwater Creek Vineyard, the wine has a very pretty softness to it, with notes of bright, ripe cherry, just a hint of bramble in the background from the 25% Mourvedre, and is rounded out at the end with 12% Syrah. This is a classy wine that would be popular at a big feast, surely everyone would find it very easy to get along with!
