A velvety maroon hue with enticing aromas of spice, violet blossoms, and black fruits. Flavors of cassis, black raspberry, and black cherry lead to a finish of bramble berry, mature plum, and a hint of sweet tobacco. Medium-bodied, well-balanced, and versatile, it pairs beautifully with grilled meats, creamy cheeses, and rich dishes. Vibrant now or cellar for 2–8 years.
